The K7RST Gateway now has Dplus functionality in place. We currently have the D-Echo, Simulcast, and Gateway ID applications running on the gateway server.

D-Echo on will echo back your anything you transmit on a band so you can hear yourself and the signal quality at a given location. The Simulcast will send your transmission to ALL bands, 1.2, VHF, and UHF (note: we still do not have 1.2 online). The Gateway ID will have the gateway respond with it’s voice ID, this is handy to see if the gateway is operational. Dplus also gives dongle users the ability to connect to our system. Please remember that if you want the dongle users to be able to hear your transmissions you must have K7RST G in the RP2 position.

To use D-Echo you need to program your radio as listed below.

D-Echo on 2M (145,115)
URCALL = K7RST E The E (Echo) must be in the 8th character position
RPT1 …. = K7RST C The C (2 Meter Repeater) must be in the 8th character position
RPT2 = K7RST G The G (Gateway) must be in the 8th character position
MYCALL = your call sign

D-Echo on 440 MHz (445.900)
URCALL = K7RST E The E (Echo) must be in the 8th character position
RPT1 …. = K7RST B The B (440 Repeater) must be in the 8th character position
RPT2 = K7RST G The G (Gateway) must be in the 8th character position
MYCALL = your call sign
