RST General Meeting Minutes
1) Large Hadron Collider Presentation

3) Officers Report

c. Public Information Officer – announced various upcoming events that are requesting Amateur Radio support.
4) Adhoc/Informational Items
a. Logo Embroidery supplier has agreed to provide customized RST designs. Until information can be put onto the website, contact Keith KR7RK or Armand KI7J for more information.
b. Pueblo High School Raffle - for details contact Bob KE7YTF
c. Technician Class will be soon underway- contact Gail at N7BXX@arrl.net
d. Club membership renewals are down – push to get them up is being put forth.
5) Special Interest Groups (SIG) Reports
a. VET- 8 Candidates tested, 8 Candidates passed
b. Contest SIG- Contesting out at Sahuarita (12-toes) is suspended until repairs, rework, and upgrades are completed.
6) Old Business: Hamfest – March 27th –many volunteers are needed for this effort, contact Matthew AC7IL for details.
7) New Business
a. Motion passed allowing the Board to spend up to $500 for Hamfest Prizes.
b. Norm Martin K7OLD (SK) willed a significant amount of Amateur Radio Gear to RST, Matthew AC7IL proposed a plan to integrate the equipment into a “Go-Kit” for future RST events. Motion was presented and passed to allow Matthew to execute his plan.
c. Field Day Plans are underway and in order to get feedback from the club, Owen AK7AR and Matthew AC7IL will develop a survey monkey questionnaire that will be used to gain feedback as to the direction that the RST General Membership wants to handle 2010 ARRL Field Day.
d. The following people were voted in as new members:
i. Carol Mauch, KE7PMJ
ii. Robert Moe, WD8OZS
iii. David Stucky, AB7Q
iv. William Clark, K6WSC
8) RAFFLE was then held with one of the prizes being Nunzio Addabbo's (W4VYD) new book "Globe Earth's Sister Planet".
